Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Janitor position located in Nagpur involves ensuring cleanliness and hygiene throughout office premises such as work areas, hallways, restrooms, and communal spaces. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, removing dust, collecting and disposing of waste, and restocking soap, tissue, and other cleaning supplies. The janitor is also responsible for monitoring the facility's condition, reporting any maintenance concerns, and adhering to safety and sanitation regulations. Occasionally, the role requires setting up for meetings or events and assisting staff to maintain a safe, neat, and organized workplace.

Requirements

• Proficient janitorial and housekeeping skills to uphold cleanliness and orderliness of facilities.
• Ability to interact politely and professionally with staff and visitors offering courteous customer service.
• Willingness to undergo training on company-specific cleaning processes and safety standards.
• Basic knowledge of managing cleaning supplies and inventory; familiarity with vendor coordination or sales is advantageous.
• Capability to follow directions, work independently, and manage time effectively.
• Understanding of the safe handling procedures for cleaning agents and tools.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks requiring lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and walking during shifts.
• Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience is preferred; at minimum, completion of high school or equivalent education is desirable.
