Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to front-end and back-end features development for healthcare web applications.
• Design, write, and test code under guidance from senior developers.
• Maintain and debug existing codebases to ensure stability.
• Participate in peer code reviews and follow team coding standards.
• Create technical documentation for code updates and changes.
• Work collaboratively with various departments on multiple projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.
• Effective communication and a collaborative approach for teamwork.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least one year of relevant work experience developing web projects or contributing to open-source/team codebases.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving workplace environment.
• Willing and able to work on-site at our Gardena laboratory/office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Docker development environments.
• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Basic understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.
• Capability to write test code using Jest, Mocha, or similar tools.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices and tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner are advantageous.
• Proficiency in technical communication in English.
• Awareness of healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) and experience within healthcare or related sectors.

Work Schedule

The position requires working from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Compensation

The anticipated annual salary range is $80,000 to $110,000, commensurate with candidate’s education, skills, and experience.
