Role Overview

This part-time Junior Graphic Designer position is based on-site in Collon, County Louth. The role involves supporting the development of visual assets for both digital and print marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, promotional materials, and event-related collateral. Daily tasks include collaborating with senior designers and account managers, interpreting project briefs, refining design concepts, and preparing final files for production. Maintaining brand consistency across all projects, contributing to logo and identity design efforts, and ensuring that designs meet client objectives and timelines are essential responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid understanding of graphic design principles with capability to transform ideas into clear visuals.
• Experience or educational background in logo creation and branding to support brand identity projects and updates.
• Knowledge of typography and layout fundamentals to create clear, aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Proficiency with professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Gemini, or similar tools.
• A portfolio showcasing creative work in digital and/or print media.
• Strong attention to detail, adherence to brand guidelines, and willingness to receive and apply feedback.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate on-site with diverse teams in Louth.
• Preferably holding relevant coursework, certification, or a diploma/degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
