Role Overview

We seek a Junior Project Manager to help streamline and hasten the global enterprise adoption of open source technologies. The role involves managing a portfolio of projects involving evolving software technologies. This position requires drive, communication skills, stakeholder engagement, integrity, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver projects and programs on schedule, within scope, allocated budget, and resource constraints.
• Identify critical technical and project risks and issues; implement effective mitigation actions.
• Maintain a strong customer-oriented approach; collaborate with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
• Assist in organizing regular project status meetings and business reviews with clients.
• Support managing delivery schedules for key third-party project contributions.
• Promote Canonical's relevant technology solutions to customers.

Candidate Profile

• Strong academic history in science, software engineering, or IT.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Solution-driven mindset with professional demeanor and negotiation abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership experiences during education.
• Exceptional academic achievements from secondary education through university.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline or a strong alternative background explanation.
• Comfort in voicing ideas and exchanging feedback constructively.

Compensation and Benefits
