Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team in Barrie, Ontario. The role involves aiding in vehicle dismantling and recycling operations, ideal for individuals passionate about cars and physically active work.

Responsibilities

• Arranging vehicles each morning as per site layout plan
• Maintaining safe, clean, and organized vehicle rows for customer access
• Walking the yard regularly to collect debris, tools, and parts
• Removing and inspecting used tires from vehicles
• Using hand tools or machinery to safely detach tires from rims
• Sorting, inspecting, and categorizing rims for resale or recycling
• Stacking and storing rims and tires in set locations

Qualifications

• Experience in general labour or similar roles preferred
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capacity to perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Reliability and openness to learning various business functions
• Comfort with working outdoors in all weather conditions

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wage of $20.00 per hour plus biannual bonus up to 3.75%
