Role Overview

The Mobile Developer position is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that serve the Alazania ecosystem. The successful candidate will prioritize application performance, scalability, and enhanced user experience. Key tasks include producing clean and efficient code, partnering with product and design units to realize features, integrating APIs and backend functionalities, and improving existing applications through troubleshooting and optimization. This role also encompasses participating in code reviews, contributing to technical documentation, and staying up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies relevant to African markets.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in mobile app development for Android and/or cross-platform environments.
• Experience with iOS development, including Swift or Objective-C and familiarity with Apple's mobile ecosystem.
• Strong understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming principles in production-grade mobile software.
• Familiar with full software development life cycles including testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with mobile frameworks and tools such as React Native, Flutter, native Android development, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a remote and distributed team environment, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Interest in or knowledge of African digital consumer behaviors, market specifics, and localization of user experiences.
