Ace Handyman Services in Lakeland is hiring a professional Multi Skilled Handyman to support repair, maintenance, and remodeling work for homes and businesses across Polk County and nearby areas. This is a W2 position that offers the feel of independent work, with jobs arranged and scheduled for you. You will operate from your home base and travel to client sites using your own truck or van, or a company vehicle where provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will handle a mix of handyman, repair, and improvement tasks, drawing on experience across multiple trades. The work may involve carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall repairs, and light plumbing or electrical tasks. In addition to completing quality workmanship, you will be expected to deliver professional customer service and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, management, and office staff.

Requirements

• Proven background as a handyman, carpenter, or craftsman
• Working knowledge of multiple trades, including carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, and basic plumbing and electrical work
• Ability to complete minor plumbing and electrical tasks
• Own a standard set of tools needed for the work
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Good documentation and invoicing skills
• Experience preparing project estimates
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to provide courteous service to clients and coordinate well with team members and office personnel
