Job Responsibilities

• Drain various fluids such as gasoline, antifreeze, and A/C refrigerants from vehicles to facilitate proper processing.
• Remove batteries and vehicle jacks.
• Extract catalytic converters when required.
• Detach tires and rims from vehicles.
• Perform yard upkeep, including cleaning and disposing of parts appropriately.
• Manage vehicle inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent (CAEC/GED) or successfully pass the company's comprehension assessment.
• No prior experience is necessary; however, experience in manufacturing, production, scrap yard, or auto parts environments is advantageous.
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license suitable for operating yard vehicles.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is considered a plus.
• Physically capable of handling demands such as standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, lifting moderate to heavy weights, and pushing or pulling.
• Ready to work under varying weather conditions, including extremes of summer heat and winter cold.
• Organized with strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal, radio, and written communication.
• Friendly and polite demeanor with a focus on customer service.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and efficient time management.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have dependable transportation to commute as the workplace is in a remote location without public transit access.
