Your Role
The Product Manager for Document Access will take full ownership of the strategy, discovery, and execution of the company’s central document storage and access system within the Alter Domus Intelligence platform. This foundational service supports multiple internal teams and external clients involved in Real Assets, Private Equity, and Private Credit sectors. Reporting to the Squad Lead, this role is responsible for crafting and implementing the product roadmap, converting business and regulatory inputs into scalable features, and ensuring continual evolution to accommodate growing internal and external user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product roadmap management from initial discovery through delivery to adoption aligned with the broader platform strategy.
- Clearly delineate service ownership boundaries distinguishing product scope from upstream or downstream team domains.
- Conduct thorough requirements discovery across internal stakeholders to clarify needs and inform strategic product decisions.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure delivery sequencing based on customer value, with well-defined epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Project Management within an agile framework to ensure sprint quality and predictability.
- Serve as the main liaison for all consuming teams and stakeholders, maintaining proactive and structured communication around progress, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Identify, define, and track KPIs, leveraging data and feedback for continuous product improvement.
- Contribute to commercial engagements when product features relate to client-facing solutions.
Candidate Profile
- At least 5 years’ experience in product management within agile SaaS or fintech settings, with a proven record overseeing products from discovery through adoption.
- Ability to make decisive, accountable decisions and foster clarity amidst ambiguity.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills interacting effectively across seniorities and departments, managing scope firmly and reasoning clearly under challenge.
- Effective communication skills to articulate product vision convincingly and align diverse groups.
- Skill in defining and protecting product boundaries, managing scope creep with well-justified trade-offs.
- A metric-driven mindset focused on KPIs reflecting delivery success and adoption.
- Comfortable with technical concepts such as REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-based systems to engage productively with engineers.
- Demonstrated judicious use of AI tools in product management, recognizing their value and limits requiring human insight.
