Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with members of the banner project team to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to execute projects flawlessly.
- Guarantee timely project completion within defined scope and budget constraints.
- Design mechanical and electrical (M&E) work processes for retail units.
- Partner with quantity surveyors to facilitate M&E tendering and cost estimation.
- Assess and review all M&E drawings, documents, reports, and materials submitted by contractors.
- Administer site operations, overseeing vendors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with Electrical and Control Panel codes, quality standards, and relevant government regulations.
- Supervise and validate M&E systems.
- Manage retail store construction initiatives, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality assurance, and risk management for new developments, refits, and refresh projects—from planning through to completion.
- Engage directly with key stakeholders and project collaborators spanning Operations, Design, Marketing, Engineering, and Cost Management to define project needs, scope, resource planning, budget estimation, scheduling, quality control, and risk recognition.
- Identify external project delivery resources from approved lists or via qualification processes and conduct comprehensive requests for proposals and bid evaluations.
- Collaborate across functions to optimize project schemes for cost efficiency annually without compromising customer experience or operational team performance.
- Apply best practices to provide direction and guidance that supports project objectives.
- Implement effective communication strategies using meetings and written reports to inform stakeholders and management about key updates.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and coordinated documentation and project data integrity.
- Monitor project progress relative to goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Provide status updates and report on any variances.
Candidate Profile
- Recent diploma, degree, or ITE graduates in relevant disciplines are encouraged to apply; project management experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Highly detail-oriented with a meticulous approach.
- A keen interest in the retail industry.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex documents related to store development such as work letters, project charters, presentations, surveys, and drawings.
