Role Overview

This role demands a proactive and highly organized Project Manager committed to ensuring the success of vital Enterprise Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Application projects. The successful candidate will oversee the entire project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, risk mitigation, and smooth operational handover. Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, managing multi-disciplinary teams and external vendors, and leading data management initiatives within allocated budgets. An emphasis is placed on sound governance practices, meticulous attention to detail, and following through from data ingestion and quality assurance phases to operational transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, success criteria, and choose appropriate delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
• Prepare and maintain critical project documents including project charters, detailed schedules, and RAID logs capturing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• Oversee financial planning such as estimates, budgeting, and procurement (including SOWs and purchase orders), managing scope and timelines to deliver projects punctually.
• Lead internal teams, external vendors, and system integrators in creating secure and fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Conduct solution design reviews and manage all testing, training, and preparation activities to ensure smooth transition to Business-as-Usual operations.
• Identify and coordinate resolution of complex technical dependencies among systems, APIs, and third-party integrations to avoid delays.
• Implement performance metrics for vendors to guarantee adherence to SLAs and technical compatibility throughout project execution.
• Organize steering committee meetings and working groups, translating technical information into business-oriented insights for executives.
• Maintain control over change requests and RAID mitigation, securing delivery alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure project documentation complies with audit requirements and internal IT policies and standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 12 years of experience leading major IT transformation projects including infrastructure upgrades, core application deployments, and cybersecurity programs in the financial services industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management, or related fields.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CITPM, or PRINCE2 are required; Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe) are strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of banking operations and financial product landscapes.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira and Confluence for tracking sprint velocity and managing technical debt.
• Able to excel in dynamic, complex environments requiring adaptability.
• Solid expertise in project governance, including detailed planning, RAID management, change control, and benefits realization.
• Strong familiarity with financial, procurement, and compliance aspects relevant to project execution, including handling technical approvals and audit-ready delivery standards.
• Proven ability to manage complex and cross-functional teams successfully by leveraging stakeholder strengths and fostering effective collaboration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of balancing multiple priorities, with a collaborative approach to working within cross-functional teams.
