Role Overview

The QA/QC Assistant will play a critical support role within the quality assurance and quality control team, ensuring adherence to project specifications, standards, and client requirements through various quality control and inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily quality inspections and control processes to meet project and client standards.
• Conduct and coordinate inspection and testing such as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Penetrant Testing (PT), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and pressure and load testing with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Compile, organize, and manage quality documentation, including QA/QC reports, inspection files, Fabrication Data Books, and material traceability records.
• Collaborate with production, project teams, suppliers, and external parties, actively participating in project kick-off meetings when necessary.
• Support audit processes, oversee Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and maintain Quality Management System documentation.
• Handle calibration records and ensure that measuring and inspection equipment comply with required calibration standards.
• Maintain quality control standards and documentation, including assisting in supplier quality evaluations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

Education and Skills:

• Diploma or graduate degree in technical fields with a preference for quality-related education.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, Adobe software, and Outlook.

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience working with quality systems, ideally within the oil and gas sector.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and guidelines.
