Quality Manager

Job Overview

Quantum Magnetics, a division of Permanent Magnets Ltd located at Plot no B-3 Mira MIDC, Mira Village, Mira Road East, Thane, is seeking a skilled Quality Manager for their Mumbai suburban facility. This role demands strong expertise in relay components and electromechanical systems, including coils, contacts, springs, and actuator mechanisms. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various quality management tools and standards, ensuring high quality in relay manufacturing processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply hands-on quality tools such as the 7 QC tools, 8D problem-solving, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to maintain and improve product quality.
• Oversee quality management practices aligned with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles.
• Manage supplier quality and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure compliance and product excellence.

Candidate Requirements

• B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Experience with electromechanical relays, quality assurance, and quality control roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of relay manufacturing processes and quality system standards.
• Proficient in quality methodologies such as FMEA, 8D, SPC, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen.

• Work location is onsite in Mumbai suburban area.

• Competitive salary range between 600,000 and 1,000,000 INR annually.
