Role Purpose

The Room Attendant is an essential part of the Housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining impeccably clean guest rooms and ensuring every detail contributes to a positive guest experience. Beyond cleaning tasks, this role involves cooperating closely with team members and assisting guests to deliver memorable hospitality.

Main Duties

• Deep cleaning guest rooms, including changing bed linens, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning all surfaces to uphold exceptional presentation standards.
• Following established protocols meticulously to meet the high standards of the property.
• Keeping housekeeping trolleys well-stocked, organized, and ready for use.
• Handling cleaning agents with care, strictly obeying safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Protecting guest privacy and maintaining security to ensure their comfort and trust.
• Promptly reporting any maintenance needs to support flawless guest stays.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in room cleaning or as a room attendant is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and coworkers.
• Attention to detail and efficient time management with pride in completing tasks thoroughly.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding duties involving movement through rooms, stairs, and corridors.
• A collaborative attitude towards working with a diverse team.
• Reliable transportation with availability for shifts including weekends and public holidays.
