About the Role

G4S Secure Solutions Ireland is looking for a skilled Security Specialist to join their team at a prominent client site in Dublin City. This role involves ensuring a secure environment for leading AI researchers, combining traditional security vigilance with modern technological tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement G4S security procedures and manage visitor access through digital platforms.
• Utilize Slack for operational communications, team updates, and confirming clearance statuses.
• Keep all shift-related logs, key handovers, and incident records digitally using Google Docs and Sheets.
• Provide a high-standard client service as the first point of contact for employees and visitors, reflecting a tech-savvy culture.
• Conduct scheduled internal and external patrols focusing on safeguarding sensitive research and intellectual property.
• Act as a First Aid Responder and Fire Warden, using Google Calendar to monitor office occupancy and event schedules.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid PSA Static Security License is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Slack and Google Workspace applications, including skills in managing digital shared drives and real-time communication threads.
• Minimum C1 level English language proficiency with the capability to produce clear, professional reports suitable for clients.
• At least three years of experience in corporate or technology sector security roles within Ireland.
• Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality, especially concerning sensitive AI research data.

Working Hours and Compensation

The position offers 36 hours per week scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday or as rostered. The base wage is €15.41 per hour plus a €4.09 site-specific allowance. Additional pay includes €3.44 per hour on Sundays, €20 per unsociable shift, overtime at 1.5x after 96 hours fortnightly, and double pay for bank holidays worked, all in line with the ERO order.

Technical Environment

The role requires daily use of Slack (both desktop and mobile), Google Docs and Sheets, Google Calendar, and digital visitor check-in systems such as Envoy.
