About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to oversee and support major electrical bulk customer accounts. This position entails providing in-depth technical expertise to guarantee consistent power supply, resolving technical and operational challenges, supporting bulk metering and distribution activities, and upholding compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships with key electrical bulk customers to maintain satisfaction and service reliability.
- Deliver technical support and devise engineering solutions concerning load demands, metering systems, and distribution channels for bulk electrical clients.
- Oversee installation, operation, inspection, and maintenance procedures related to bulk electrical connections and metering infrastructure.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify electrical problems impacting customers swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure prompt and high-quality service delivery aligned with established standards and service level agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams across electrical, metering, operations, customer support, and maintenance disciplines to fulfill customer needs and resolve operational issues.
- Evaluate customer requests, grievances, technical documents, and requirements linked to bulk supply services.
- Adhere to company electrical guidelines, safety protocols, ISO and risk management standards, plus corporate health and safety obligations.
- Compile technical reports, monitor performance, summarize issues, and propose service enhancements for key accounts.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of customer communications, technical service activities, requests, complaints, and resolutions.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts aimed at boosting service quality and efficiency for key clients.
- Undertake assigned duties as delegated by supervisors or senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within utility key accounts, bulk electrical supply, distribution, or metering sectors.
- Thorough understanding of electrical distribution networks, bulk supply frameworks, and metering platforms.
- Proven experience managing key accounts and sustaining professional customer relations.
- Familiarity with electrical safety codes, regulatory practices, utility operational procedures, ISO standards, risk management, and corporate health and safety policies preferred.

- Familiarity with environments enforcing stringent safety, quality, and compliance standards.
