Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the Role

Path Saathi, a part of The Ampersand Group, is expanding the technology backbone that supports skill-development centres across India. The platform is already live and growing, and the company is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to help shape its next phase.

Role Summary

This is a full-time engineering position based in Hyderabad for someone with at least 4 years of experience. The role involves building scalable product features, improving platform reliability, and contributing across both backend and frontend work.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop platform capabilities that can support multiple tenants at scale.
• Build and enhance backend services and APIs using FastAPI.
• Contribute to the React frontend wherever needed.
• Produce maintainable, well-tested code aligned with engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with the tech lead on system architecture and product decisions.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve difficult production issues.

What the Team Is Looking For

• Solid backend development experience, preferably with Python and FastAPI; candidates from other technology stacks with strong engineering fundamentals are also welcome.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design.
• Working knowledge of React for frontend development.
• Background in building and scaling production-grade web applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, accountability, and sound engineering judgment.

Preferred Background

• Experience with multi-tenant or SaaS-based products.
• Exposure to EdTech or large-scale operational systems.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
