Position Overview

We seek a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead the design and delivery of our talent acquisition strategy centered on core Engineering and Product teams. Reporting to the Head of Talent and collaborating closely with leadership including our founders and Director of Engineering, you will attract, engage, and onboard top-notch technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for engineering, AI/ML, product management, and technical infrastructure roles.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to define job requirements, develop role profiles, and identify target talent pools.
• Employ innovative sourcing strategies by exploring technical communities, open-source projects, GitHub, research outputs, and professional alumni networks to identify passive, high-quality engineering candidates.
• Work alongside engineering managers to enhance technical evaluation processes including code reviews, system design interviews, and architecture tests to ensure rigorous quality standards and smooth candidate experience.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor recruitment metrics such as outreach success, interview performance rates, and offer acceptance, continually improving the hiring process.
• Provide candidates with a prompt, personalized, and technically informed recruitment experience from initial contact through onboarding.
• Represent Nectar Social within technical communities, underlining our AI technology stack, engineering challenges, and company culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of technical recruiting experience with demonstrated success in hiring software engineers, AI/ML specialists, and technical product managers.
• Strong understanding of contemporary technology stacks, distributed systems, AI and large language model infrastructures, capable of engaging senior candidates in technical discussions.
• Excellent judgment in assessing technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and cultural fit while maintaining hiring efficiency.
• Proven track record in securing talent against competition from large tech firms and fast-growing AI companies.
• Adaptability and resourcefulness suited to a fast-paced startup environment with high autonomy and low hierarchy.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Palo Alto for in-person teamwork and collaboration.
