Role Summary

The Cloud Engineering - Services team manages and supports third-party tools and infrastructure platforms, including Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD systems like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and unmanaged shared infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance cloud efficiency by collaborating with engineering, security, and platform teams to eliminate wasteful resource usage.
• Contribute to the Cloud Engineering - Services roadmap and deliver consistent, reliable outcomes supporting team objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to shape technical and organizational strategies, fostering an environment where high-quality work flourishes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience managing platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions), and observability tools like Datadog.
• Competence in automating deployment and operations through Infrastructure-as-Code, including tasks like cluster upgrades and workflow automation.
• Working knowledge of integrating third-party technologies such as Terraform, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Cassandra, and Databricks.
• Understanding of reliability engineering principles, including scaling, failover, and maintaining platform robustness.
• Strong collaboration skills, able to engage with embedded teams and influence engineers, product teams, and fellow SREs effectively.
