Role Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Software Engineer with about three years of professional experience in both frontend and backend development for a one-year fixed-term contract. Collaborating with seasoned engineers and product teams, you will be instrumental in designing, creating, and sustaining features that deliver meaningful value to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features for both frontend and backend systems.
• Create intuitive, high-quality user interfaces using modern technologies.
• Develop backend services utilizing Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Design and manage APIs and integrate third-party systems.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.
• Work closely with Product teams to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Incorporate AI tools daily to augment engineering efficiencies.
• Critically assess AI-generated code and suggestions to ensure quality.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance team productivity through AI.
• Contribute to overall system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Support and resolve production issues promptly.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts such as refactoring, automation, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Engage in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js with commercial development experience.
• Experienced in building modern, responsive frontends using React.
• Skilled in working with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and backend services.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms, including infrastructure as code.
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles and clean code techniques.
• Experienced in using AI tools to enhance software development.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
