Staff Technical Program Manager

We seek a Staff Technical Program Manager based in Mountain View, CA to lead large, cross-functional programs within our Talent Marketplace Engineering organization. This team builds key systems that link hundreds of millions to career opportunities using AI and advanced matching technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of complex AI-focused engineering projects within Talent Marketplace Engineering and partner infrastructure organizations.
• Work closely with engineering leadership to identify technical dependencies and risks, driving resolution proactively.
• Establish program rhythms including planning cycles, milestone tracking, team coordination, and executive reporting.
• Align diverse stakeholder groups on project scope, schedules, and priority trade-offs.
• Forecast and mitigate risks, escalating only with actionable solutions.
• Contribute to organizational planning such as half-year roadmaps and setting objectives and key results by balancing engineering capacity with business goals.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Management, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in technical program management or related roles within software engineering.
• Proven experience leading AI-driven product initiatives.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience with consumer or marketplace products involving search, recommendations, or matching systems.
• Familiarity with AI/ML product development processes, including model training pipelines and responsible AI practices.
• Ability to lead large-scale, multi-team programs spanning multiple quarters with complex dependencies.
• Knowledge of capacity planning for hardware accelerators like GPUs and TPUs.
• Strong track record delivering impactful programs in fast-moving environments.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and AI lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication skills and capacity to work autonomously in uncertain contexts.

Additional Information

LinkedIn offers competitive pay ranging from $144,000 to $237,000 annually, influenced by factors such as experience, skills, certifications, and location. The total compensation package may include performance bonuses, equity, benefits, and incentives.
