WHITEvoid is a multidisciplinary art and design studio known for delivering innovative projects globally, ranging from architectural and interior design concepts to dynamic light installations, interactive exhibits, and custom software. Role Responsibilities
- Guide projects from initial planning stages through to implementation and final delivery while liaising closely with diverse internal teams and clients.
- Create and evaluate technical drawings utilizing Vectorworks/CAD as foundational plans.
- Design and manage planning for power and data distribution infrastructures.
- Develop and supervise rigging strategies involving trussing, motors, and chain hoists.
- Coordinate technical disciplines within the organization and manage relationships with external service providers and partners.
- Provide technical consultancy to internal teams and clients about feasible solutions and options.
- Maintain thorough documentation of technical requirements and project timelines.
- Ensure adherence to both internal protocols and official safety regulations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues throughout every phase of project execution.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in event production, technical planning, and project management.
- Educational background in event technology or closely related technical disciplines.
- Certification as a Master of Event Technology (Meister für Veranstaltungstechnik) or equivalent academic qualification.
- Proficiency with Vectorworks/CAD for technical and 3D drawings.
- Advanced knowledge of power and data distribution systems.
- Experience with rigging, including trussing and motorized systems such as chain hoists.
- Good understanding of complex technical setups including lighting control systems (e.g., GrandMA) and fundamental audio concepts.
- Experience handling varied fixture types, integrated technologies, and network systems.
- Exposure to international projects and productions is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory standards (e.g., BGV C1, VStättVO) is advantageous.
- Strong organizational capacity and documentation expertise.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving working environment.
- Proactive attitude with readiness to assist on-site when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude with a practical and solution-focused approach.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Fluent English is essential; proficiency in German is advantageous but not required.
- Willingness to travel as per project demands.
