UX/UI Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer (m/w/d) based in Munich to enhance our digital products both functionally and aesthetically. This role involves full or part-time work on-site, focusing on taking ownership of the entire UX/UI design for our online store. You will bring a strong visual sense, think in variants, and enjoy developing clickable prototypes rapidly.

Our company, MYPOSTER, has been a successful e-commerce firm since 2011, emphasizing technology, owning production, and operating as a family business. With a team of over 400 employees across software development, product design, and digital manufacturing, we create personalized photo products made in Germany with high attention to detail and agile workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of the visual evolution of our online shop (both web and app), from UI components to full features.
• Develop user-centered solutions prioritizing rapid prototyping, early validation, and continuous iteration.
• Create and test clickable prototypes and design variants early without lengthy perfection cycles.
• Work pragmatically focusing on Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), applying structured and solution-oriented thinking centered on user experience.
• Analyze user flows, research data, heatmaps, A/B tests, and feedback to support informed UX decisions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure coherent user guidance and seamless journeys.

Candidate Profile

• You have initial experience in UX/UI design across diverse projects, teams, or settings including agency and in-house roles.
• Demonstrate quick thinking and agile execution: iterative, proactive, curious, and responsible.
• Possess a keen aesthetic sense and can refine designs through data-driven insights.
• Communicate effectively and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to achieve fast and constructive consensus.
• Enjoy experimenting with new AI tools and leveraging them to streamline and optimize workflows.
• Fluent German language skills at minimum C1 level are required.
