Position Overview
The Yardperson role at our Toowoomba branch plays a crucial support function, focusing on maintaining the branch yard and ensuring equipment is loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. This full-time permanent position operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm, offering attractive hourly rates with overtime penalty rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload equipment from vehicles utilizing proper procedures.
- Carry out general yard maintenance tasks, including cleaning equipment and facilities to uphold a safe and orderly environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service as part of daily duties.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a current forklift license and a valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Experience in loading and unloading operations, with knowledge of load restraint methods, is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
