About the Internship

Optimasys, a progressive IT solutions company focused on optimizing business technology and digital transformation, invites passionate individuals to join their Cyber Security internship. This remote internship offers practical exposure in a dynamic setting, allowing interns to apply their expertise in Python, computer networking, Linux, ethical hacking, VAPT, and web application security to real-world scenarios.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments and penetration tests on company systems.
• Monitor network activity to detect and analyze potential security threats.
• Create automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations.
• Work collaboratively with the cybersecurity team to enforce best practices.
• Support incident response procedures and resolution efforts.
• Keep abreast of emerging cyber security trends and innovations.
• Engage in training and workshops to further enhance technical skills.

Applicant Eligibility

Applicants must be able to work from home and be available to commence the internship between July 19, 2026, and August 23, 2026. Candidates should commit to a three-month duration and possess relevant skills or interests in the domain. Women seeking to initiate or re-enter their career in cyber security are especially encouraged to apply. Preference is given to students pursuing Computer Science Engineering.

Compensation and Perks

The internship offers a monthly stipend ranging from INR 7,500 to INR 15,000. Additional benefits include a certificate of completion, a letter of recommendation, flexible working hours, and a five-day workweek.
