Accountant

Overview

Samsung C&T India Pvt. Ltd seeks a skilled Accountant with 2 to 3 years of experience and a preference for candidates holding B Com, M.Com, or CA Inter qualifications. The position is based in Mumbai and falls under the Engineering & Construction industry. This role reports directly to the Head of Finance and requires comprehensive expertise in accounting, finance, and taxation compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage GST compliance including preparation and filing of GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 9, and GSTR 9C returns.
• Perform reconciliation of tax discrepancies in GST returns and GSTR-2A/2B with books of accounts.
• Ensure timely payment compliance for GST, TDS, and Advance Tax.
• Handle TDS compliances such as liability computations, filing, and revision of returns.
• Maintain accounting records and close books as per Indian GAAP.
• Record and review daily financial transactions including expenses and incomes using Tally and SAP.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial activities including year-end closure, audit completion, and annual return filings.
• Conduct AR & AP reconciliations along with daily bank reconciliations and prepare monthly analyses of dues such as sundry creditors, debtors, wages, and salaries.
• Complete and review month-end closing activities and prepare MIS reports according to the scheduled closing timeline.
• Prepare E-invoices and E-way bills to support compliance requirements.
