Adventure Guide

Overview

As an Adventure Guide, your role is to deliver outstanding experiences for guests throughout their Escape Room adventures, focusing on excellent customer service, enthusiasm for the activities, and friendliness to all visitors.

Primary Responsibilities

• Welcome each team member and assist with their check-in process.
• Serve beverages and snacks in the lounge area (alcohol service requires age 19 or older; preparation of drinks requires age 21 or older).
• Interact with groups ranging from 2 to 14 participants, explaining game rules and scenarios clearly.
• Supervise gameplay and monitor team attitudes to ensure all guests receive a 5-star experience.
• Gather teams promptly at game completion, offer an energetic conclusion, and facilitate photo opportunities in the lounge.
• Efficiently reset the Escape Room by accurately restoring locks, puzzles, and props between sessions; perform cleaning as needed.
• Report issues in a timely manner to management.
• Perform end-of-night cleaning duties for all areas including escape rooms, kitchen, bathroom, and lounge, as well as restocking supplies.

Job Requirements

• Capability to remain seated and focused for up to 60 minutes while monitoring groups via video/audio.
• Reliable work ethic with regular attendance commitment.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required.
• Receptiveness to constructive feedback and willingness to improve performance accordingly.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and ask clarifying questions when necessary.
• Physical fitness to perform duties involving deep cleaning, standing, crawling, bending, and lifting 20-40 pounds.
• Speed and accuracy in resetting multiple locks, puzzles, doors, drawers, shelves, and props between game rounds.
• Adherence to company policies and core values while at work.
