Arabic Language Expert - Remote Contract Position

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Arabic Language Expert for a fully remote, hourly contract role focusing on enhancing AI model performances through rigorous evaluation and content generation. The position involves assessing AI-generated Arabic and English responses, creating bilingual training materials, and ensuring accuracy, logic, and clarity in problem-solving methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated Arabic and English answers for correctness, clarity, and fidelity to the prompt.
• Identify and correct conceptual or methodological errors, ensuring factual accuracy and logical reasoning.
• Generate high-standard bilingual training content, including explanations and model solutions that demonstrate proper approaches.
• Evaluate and rank different AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality to improve model outputs.
• Create detailed AI learning prompts and responses across various topics to enhance AI understanding and performance.
• Detect and test AI models for inaccuracies and bias, ensuring high reliability and contextual appropriateness.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Translation, Arabic Language, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
• Native or near-native fluency in Arabic, including excellent writing and editing skills in Modern Standard Arabic and at least one major dialect (Egyptian Arabic preferred).
• English proficiency at minimum C1 level (reading and writing) to support bilingual evaluation and guideline compliance.
• At least three years of professional experience in translation, localization, editorial quality assurance, content quality control, or linguistic evaluation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistent application of comprehensive rubrics suitable for high-volume, hourly contract work.
• Strong fact-checking skills and ability to trust only verified and reputable sources when required.
• Capability to recognize gaps in reasoning, improper methodology, and unclear explanations, even when language appears fluent.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous setting with dependable availability and clear communication.
• Prior involvement in AI data training, annotation, or evaluation processes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Arabic localization standards for the MENA region, including terminology, formatting, and cultural nuances, is preferred.

Additional Information

This role is hourly paid and does not currently have an immediate project assigned. Successful candidates will be among the first contacted for upcoming relevant tasks, granting access to future projects through the organization's expert network. Flexible work hours allow contributors to work from any location with reliable internet access.
