Role Overview

We are looking for a technically adept GIS expert to lead the deployment, support, and problem-solving efforts associated with ArcGIS Enterprise. This role demands close collaboration with IT and development teams to ensure smooth integration and consistent performance of our GIS infrastructure. A strong academic foundation in computer science or a related discipline, along with hands-on experience in GIS technology, will be key to success.

Key Duties

• Implement, configure, and maintain all elements of ArcGIS Enterprise such as Portal, Server, Data Store, and Web Adaptor to guarantee peak functionality and uptime.
• Engage proactively with teams to diagnose and fix complex problems concerning publishing, services, Single Sign-On, certificates, networking, and overall system efficiency, securing uninterrupted service and high user satisfaction.
• Work together with IT personnel to oversee and improve server setups, network and firewall configurations including Web Application Firewall settings, cloud infrastructure management, and enforcement of stringent security measures.
• Assist with fundamental GIS application development activities, including working with REST APIs, web maps, custom applications, and integration tasks to support innovation and improved user interaction.
• Efficiently resolve user support requests, maintain detailed documentation, and manage monitoring operations to ensure consistent and effective GIS platform experiences.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Geographic Information Systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of the ArcGIS Enterprise system architecture.
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments, network fundamentals, and basic API concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting ability across GIS, IT, and application systems.
• Effective communication and thorough documentation capabilities.
