Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Inventory Manager with at least five years of experience to lead inventory-related operations including planning, control, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), along with a strong track record in maintaining inventory accuracy and executing cycle counts and audits within warehouse environments.
Key Duties
- Oversee inventory accuracy for all warehouse functions.
- Utilize comprehensive SAP expertise alongside solid WMS understanding.
- Plan, manage, and supervise all inventory tasks such as inventory forecasting, cycle counts, wall-to-wall and empty bin audits, and reconciliations.
- Conduct FSN (Fast, Slow, Non-moving) inventory analysis and suggest optimization strategies.
- Lead efforts on inventory consolidation and ensure alignment between physical stock and system records.
- Investigate discrepancies in inventory, determine underlying causes, and execute corrective measures.
- Generate and present detailed inventory reports, dashboards, and management information systems (MIS) to leadership.
- Collaborate effectively with operational, warehouse, finance, and IT teams to maintain seamless inventory processes.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, audit policies, and inventory control standards.
- Champion continuous improvement to boost inventory accuracy and operational productivity.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience in inventory management and warehouse operational roles.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP coupled with practical experience in WMS systems.
- Expertise in inventory planning, cycle count execution, comprehensive WTW audits, and empty bin inspections.
- Proven experience conducting FSN analyses, inventory consolidation, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Strong analytical capabilities supported by excellent problem-solving and reporting skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and dedicated inventory reporting tools.
- Effective communication and team leadership abilities.
Preferred Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a similar discipline.
- Experience working in warehouse management, logistics, or 3PL environments is a plus.
