Position Overview

We are looking for a Bartender to prepare and serve drinks promptly with a friendly approach. This role includes safeguarding liquor inventory and cash, overseeing bar setup and breakdown, and delivering outstanding customer service. Reporting to the Outlet Manager, the Bartender will act as a key representative of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guests with tailored drink suggestions to complement their meals.
• Have thorough knowledge of menu items including their origins and preparation methods to guide recommendations.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Manage beverage orders and monitor overall stock supplies.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and relay feedback or complaints to management promptly.
• Observe guests for signs of intoxication and notify management for appropriate response.
• Support emergency and security protocols as outlined by management.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of indoor and outdoor bar areas, supporting assigned side duties.
• Collaborate with team members to organize kitchen inventories, equipment, and maintain proper inventory rotation.
• Complete assigned tasks and assist other departments as needed based on volume and staffing.
• Adhere strictly to Food and Beverage department policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as designated.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of bartending experience within a fast-paced setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Competency with point-of-sale and cash management systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests effectively.
• Excellent multitasking and time management capabilities.
• Positive team-oriented attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Preferred bartending certification.
• Mandatory food safety certification such as ServSafe.
• Knowledge of local liquor regulations.
• Experience or familiarity with the hospitality industry in Dubai beneficial.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, diverse work environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
