About the Role
Kinetic IT is looking for a Billing Administrator to join their team based in Perth, Western Australia. This position primarily involves managing billing operations and performing related administrative duties such as daily banking allocations, maintaining time entries, issuing invoices to customers, addressing invoice-related queries, and supporting the entire billing workflow.
This role is part of the Billing & Revenue Assurance team and provides an excellent environment for skill development and professional growth. Upon gaining experience, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to independently oversee their own customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all billing-related tasks ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Record and track incoming payments and reconcile them against accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle queries from both internal and external customers regarding invoices.
- Identify and implement improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of billing processes.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with various departments including Commercial Assurance, Financial Assurance, Strategic Finance, Contract Management, and PCB Management teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience providing administrative or financial support, with preference given to candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with billing systems, database applications, and advanced skills in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail combined with good problem-solving abilities aimed at process optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
