Role Overview
We are seeking a Brand Designer to join our Brand & Creative team. This position is ideal for a candidate experienced in print and packaging design, especially within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) food or beverage sectors, who also has knowledge of brand marketing in digital and retail environments. You will collaborate closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to visually bring Javvy's brand to life across diverse platforms, including packaging, Amazon product detail pages, and retail marketing materials.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine product labels and packaging structures, including labels, cartons, inserts, shippers, and retail materials.
- Create mockups for internal evaluations, retailer presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Prepare dielines and production-ready print files with support from senior designers and production partners.
- Develop marketplace content for Amazon, other e-commerce platforms, and storefronts, including A+ content modules and bundle images.
- Assist with design assets for additional marketplaces like Instacart and TikTok Shop.
- Support the translation of packaging and brand stories into conversion-focused digital layouts.
- Help produce sales and retailer pitch materials, ensuring brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Collaborate with teams in Marketing, Product, Growth, and Retail to maintain Javvy's visual identity and present creative concepts clearly.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting, keeping current with trends in design, CPG packaging, e-commerce, and retail content.
- Innovate workflows by exploring new design tools, including AI-powered creative technologies, to increase efficiency and creative output.
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 4 years of experience in graphic or brand design, particularly with packaging or label design.
- A portfolio demonstrating packaging design, Amazon or marketplace product detail page work.
- Experience in the CPG sector, preferably food or beverage, is favored.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
- Knowledge of print-ready packaging files, dielines, and printer collaboration is advantageous.
- Strong skills in producing polished mockups for packaging and retail environments.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative, proactive, and motivated to learn and grow professionally.
- Comfort and familiarity with AI-driven creative tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Flux, Magnific, or similar for ideation and production.
- Additional helpful experience includes Amazon marketplace listing design and data merge/variable data production with InDesign.
