Role Overview

This position supports the Vice President of Business Development for Southeast Asia by identifying, assessing, and prioritizing new hotel investment and management prospects across the region, based in Singapore or Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and evaluating new hotel investment and management projects throughout Southeast Asia.
• Create and present high-quality presentations, proposals, and pitch materials to potential owners, developers, and investors using tools like PowerPoint and Canva.
• Engage with hotel owners and developers to introduce Radisson’s brands, comprehend project needs, and aid deal progression.
• Conduct detailed project analyses, including feasibility studies, market positioning, competitor benchmarking, and demand-supply assessments.
• Carry out financial reviews and modeling for prospective projects, including profit and loss projections, fee structures, and sensitivity analyses using Excel.
• Contribute to overall business development strategy, such as market prioritization, brand positioning, and pipeline planning.
• Support due diligence and collaborate with Legal, Design & Construction, Operations, and Finance teams during deal negotiation and execution phases.
• Organize and coordinate meetings, events, and conferences related to business development.
• Maintain and update internal and client-facing documents including market data, reports, presentations, deal trackers, and organizational charts.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders to help prioritize tasks across immediate and long-term goals.
• Coordinate regional ad-hoc projects connected to development strategies across departments, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Keep accurate pipeline records and gather market intelligence.
• Travel within Southeast Asia as required to meet clients, attend conferences, and support site visits.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational background in business, hospitality, real estate, or asset management, preferably with hospitality industry knowledge.
• Experience in project analysis, financial modeling, or investment and asset evaluation.
• Strong presentation abilities capable of engaging senior owners and investors effectively.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, plus Canva.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, communication, organizational, and administrative skills, with great attention to detail.
• Comfortable direct interaction with hotel owners, developers, and investors.
• Willingness and capability to travel regionally periodically.
• Understanding of operating within an international team environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proactive approach with initiative and anticipation of business needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive commercial information discreetly.
