About the Role
Temu is actively looking for a driven and seasoned Business Development Manager to enhance our expanding team. Join a motivated group of professionals dedicated to making a significant impact in the industry.
Primary Responsibilities
- Actively identify, recruit, and foster productive partnerships with local merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands, prioritizing category selection to elevate overall value in line with business objectives and customer demands.
- Support merchandise partners in their platform onboarding and growth journey by advising on market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and operational tactics.
- Initiate and implement innovative strategies based on category performance, coordinating resources and guiding merchants to execute new projects.
- Perform detailed industry analyses, uncover potential customer needs through data-driven insights, and refine strategies to align with evolving market trends.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Over three years of operational experience, particularly in brand management or platform operations.
- Strong network ties with local sellers and vendor communities are advantageous.
- Proficient in data analysis to interpret industry trends, manage projects, and draw actionable insights.
- Expertise in market exploration and marketing innovation, capable of steering complete merchant marketing strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude, self-driven with a strategic mindset, and the ability to swiftly adapt to changing environments.
- Capable of handling work pressures and logistics during peak periods.
