Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving new business revenues by targeting corporate verticals. This position involves managing end-to-end sales processes and cultivating strong relationships with key financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective corporate clients in targeted market segments to build a durable pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Manage full sales cycles including outreach, discovery, designing tailored solutions, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Lead consultative discussions focusing on payments, foreign exchange, and risk management, positioning Xe as a strategic ally beyond transactional dealings.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Treasury personnel, and other crucial decision-makers.
- Use CRM tools to maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and track performance against sales targets.
- Work closely with sales support, onboarding, dealing, marketing, and partnership teams to ensure smooth client acquisition and activation.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry verticals to uncover fresh growth opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience in business development or sales roles focused on corporate clients particularly in payments, FX, and risk management areas.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and close complex B2B sales cycles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging senior financial decision-makers.
- Proficiency with CRM systems for pipeline and forecast management.
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and collaboration across teams.
