CAD Designer

About the Role

This contract position offers remote, project-based work for experienced CAD professionals skilled in 3D modeling and technical drafting. You will engage in diverse modeling, drafting, and design review assignments, selected on a per-project basis. The workload is flexible and asynchronous, with a typical commitment of 10 to 20 hours weekly depending on accepted projects. Specific project details are provided after acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute CAD modeling and design assignments on a project-by-project basis.
• Create models and technical drawings that adhere to professional standards.
• Assess and validate existing designs to ensure their quality and completeness.
• Maintain clear and reproducible documentation of your work.

Required Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in CAD design, drafting, or mechanical/product design fields.
• Expertise in at least one leading CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
• Ability to generate precise, well-organized models and drawings compliant with professional quality benchmarks.
• High attention to detail coupled with the capability to work autonomously on technical projects.
