About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous and strategic Catalog Executive to manage our product portfolio thoroughly across prominent digital marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and our own Shopify-based Cult website. This role ensures that product presentations are accurate, engaging, and consistent across all customer channels. The candidate will oversee every phase of the product lifecycle, including packaging artwork and photoshoot coordination, listing optimization, and maintaining data accuracy. Acting as the liaison among design, marketing, and product development teams, this position guarantees smooth product launches and ongoing upkeep of the catalog.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize product catalogs on platforms including Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Myntra Portal, Shopify, and other emerging marketplaces.
- Maintain precise product data such as titles, bullet points, detailed descriptions, pricing, specifications, and imagery.
- Oversee packaging and artwork finalization for all shipments, including MRP labels, manuals, warranty cards, leaflets, and carton designs.
- Coordinate design closure for new product developments to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Create, edit, and optimize product copy to boost SEO performance, enhance conversion rates, and maintain consistent brand messaging.
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce and finalize superior product images and lifestyle photoshoots.
- Perform routine data audits to detect and fix errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies in the catalog.
- Work cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and sales teams to verify and update product information promptly.
- Serve as the central contact for integrating new product launches and updates across platforms ensuring timely execution.
- Monitor customer reviews and feedback to identify content inaccuracies and proactively correct them to reduce returns and improve customer satisfaction.
- Track catalog performance metrics such as conversion rates, search rankings, and sales data, preparing actionable insights reports for continuous improvement.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement streamlined processes enhancing team productivity and speed-to-market.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of verified experience in catalog management for e-commerce websites, with mandatory handling experience on Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Myntra Portal, and Shopify.
- Expertise in product uploads, collection management, and bulk editing on listed e-commerce platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) for image editing and asset preparation.
- Keen awareness of emerging AI trends in e-commerce, with the ability to apply AI automation tools to enhance daily workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail with zero tolerance for data inaccuracies.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills for effective team coordination and content creation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak sales events like festive seasons and product launches.
