About Benchmark Health
Despite substantial investments in behavioral health innovations, population-level improvements remain minimal due to the lack of meaningful quality metrics in behavioral health. Benchmark Health addresses this gap by developing an AI-native platform that realigns incentives across stakeholders to emphasize meaningful outcomes for patients. This public benefit corporation helps mental health patients access appropriate care through dedicated Advocates who assess needs, match resources, and provide ongoing support. The service integrates with health systems, primary care, and health plans, leveraging AI to enhance care quality while reducing costs.
Company Milestones and Mission
Within just over a year, Benchmark has secured partnerships with major health entities and built an AI-native infrastructure to support its Advocacy care model. This model is founded on treating each patient like family, earning trust even from primary care providers who recommend Benchmark for their own relatives. Founded by Dr. David Mou and Dr. Tom Insel, Benchmark is reimagining behavioral health care delivery.
