Their Civil & Infrastructure division is expanding, requiring skilled leadership for a variety of projects on the Gold Coast and surrounding regions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Civil Project Manager to join the Gold Coast team. This position involves overseeing the delivery of high-impact civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, scheduling, and financial goals. Strong leadership and teamwork skills are essential to successfully coordinate diverse project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive project planning, scheduling, forecasting, and cost control.
• Lead project execution while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, timeline adherence, and budget management.
• Organize collaboration among project personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve desired results.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, variations, and contractual commitments.
• Examine project documentation closely and monitor construction to verify compliance with specifications.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed project reports and manage project completion activities including final contract administration.
• Support estimating teams in procuring new work as directed by the Civil and Infrastructure General Manager.
• Thoroughly review all project drawings, specifications, and related documents before and throughout the project.
• Schedule and lead project kickoff meetings with all stakeholders and supporting departments.
• Manage all claims related to the head contract, including variations, extensions, progress claims, and time adjustments.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of five years’ experience managing projects within the Civil & Infrastructure sector.
• Preferably hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Track record of successfully delivering civil infrastructure projects end-to-end.
• Strong commercial insight with experience in project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership qualities supported by effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a collaborative work ethic and commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes.
• Proficient with project management tools and digital systems used in construction.
