Role Overview

We seek a proactive and technically capable Cloud Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to oversee and maintain our cloud infrastructure supporting digital payment solutions including PPI Wallet, UPI, Payment Aggregator, RuPay Card Management, Merchant Onboarding, and other financial applications. Candidates should have practical exposure to GCP and AWS, Linux administration, networking, and automation. Experience within regulated sectors like Fintech or Banking is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support cloud systems across Production, Disaster Recovery, UAT, and Development stages.
• Oversee deployment, monitor performance, and troubleshoot applications on GCP and AWS.
• Provision cloud resources such as Compute Engines, Kubernetes, Load Balancers, Storage solutions, and Databases.
• Ensure consistent infrastructure performance monitoring and resource utilization assessment.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, including security hardening and patch updates.
• Resolve issues related to infrastructure, networking, and applications.
• Manage SSL certificates, DNS, and domain-related configurations effectively.
• Use monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and cloud-native monitoring platforms to detect and resolve incidents promptly.
• Implement cloud security best practices, manage access controls and assist in compliance with regulatory standards including RBI, NPCI, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and CERT-In.
• Oversee backup and disaster recovery operations ensuring business continuity readiness.
• Support infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and utilize IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Liaise with cloud providers, third-party vendors, and internal teams including development, product, and security.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services including Compute Engine/EC2, Cloud Storage/S3, Load Balancers, VPC, and IAM.
• Proficiency in Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) and basic Windows server skills.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, firewall, security groups, SSL/TLS certificate handling.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, and cloud monitoring services.
• Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis preferred.
• DevOps skills including Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred), Terraform, and Ansible.

Preferred Qualifications and Industry Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Certifications such as Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Engineer, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, and RHCSA preferred.
• Experience within domains like PPI, UPI ecosystem, payment aggregation, banking, fintech, digital wallets, RuPay/card issuance, and NPCI integrations is a plus.
