Role overview

Sodexo is hiring a Custodian for the Western Wayne School District in Cambridge City, Indiana. This full-time onsite role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces while contributing to a healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Work schedule

The position follows weekday shifts, including afternoon/evening and overnight hours. Exact shift details will be shared during the interview.

Compensation

The pay rate for this role is $10.00 per hour.

Key duties

• Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties across client premises as needed, such as offices, resident or patient areas, dorms, classrooms, schools, common spaces, washrooms, hallways, food service areas, and other locations that need attention.
• Carry out the assigned cleaning checklist and make sure the facility remains clean and presentable.
• Use a golf cart or similar vehicle when required.
• Arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Handle additional tasks as business needs and client expectations change.
