About the role
You will be based in store in County Meath and will report to the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager. The role may involve serving at tills, supporting customers with advice, or helping in the stockroom and back shop.
- Support customers in a friendly, reassuring way by listening carefully, answering questions, sharing product guidance, suggesting suitable items, and offering small but helpful touches that improve their visit.
- Learn the store’s promotions, offers, and schemes so you can explain them clearly and help customers make the most of them.
- Keep the store operating efficiently by making sure the right products are available on the sales floor, handling till transactions well, and assisting with stockroom work.
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver a positive shopping experience and keep the store tidy, well presented, and something the team can be proud of.
What the role requires
Full training will be provided. Boots is looking for people who can work well in a busy and changing environment, keep a good pace, communicate clearly, listen attentively, and contribute positively to a team. Attention to small details is important, especially in customer interactions. A strong desire to represent the Boots brand and help customers choose the right products is also valued.
Desirable experience
Previous experience in customer care or strong customer service skills would be an advantage, although it is not essential.
