About the Role

Octopus Electric Vehicles (OEV) Germany is on a mission to transform the sustainable mobility market by providing simple and customer-centric electric vehicle solutions via salary sacrifice schemes. As part of our founding team in Germany, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by managing all aspects of customer operations from day one. This is a unique opportunity to shape processes in a fast-paced startup environment with direct customer contact throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a friendly and dependable point of contact for customers after they place their vehicle order.
• Manage customer inquiries across their journey, ensuring high satisfaction with our services.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences at every interaction.
• Support the administration of the customer journey, from contract signing through vehicle delivery and ongoing usage.
• Proactively address and resolve any issues customers encounter to provide smooth vehicle operation.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in customer service, ideally related to fleet management, automotive sector, or after-sales support; experience in leasing or mobility startups is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop pragmatic, customer-focused solutions in a dynamic setting.
• A startup mindset with resilience and adaptability to thrive during a company’s founding phase.
• Genuine passion for e-mobility and vehicle operations, with self-motivation to define and take ownership of efficient operational processes.
• Excellent German language skills at native or professional fluency and strong English skills to collaborate with teams in London.
