Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst contractor for a six-month engagement based in Bristol. This role primarily involves collaborating with a financial services client to connect engineering, data analytics teams, and business stakeholders effectively. The position requires on-site presence once a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Bridge communication between engineering, data analytics, and stakeholder groups.
- Work closely with visualization teams utilizing tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Extract and cleanse data from diverse sources to support analytics.
- Manipulate data to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business teams to capture and define detailed data requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse platform.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and management.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Analytical mindset geared towards solving complex data challenges.
Additional Information
The contract offers a daily rate between £450 and £475, paid to an umbrella company. The position is based in the Greater Bristol Area with an expectation for one day per week on-site attendance.
