Role Overview
We are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Data Entry Specialist to join our Accounts Payable team remotely from Oregon. The ideal candidate will be adept at fast and accurate typing, possess analytical skills, and be committed to maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities
- Verify, review, and process invoices ensuring completeness and accuracy for payments.
- Organize and file invoices systematically for easy access and record keeping.
- Identify outstanding invoices and collaborate with relevant parties to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage the disbursement and monitoring of petty cash to ensure proper usage.
- Efficiently process employee and executive expense claims.
- Prepare and distribute checks promptly for payments.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate vendor files, including contacts and payment details.
- Review and approve purchase orders in line with company policies.
- Foster positive relationships with employees and vendors to support smooth operations.
- Provide assistance with accounts receivable duties as required to support the department.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in data entry or accounts payable roles.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related discipline is an alternative qualification.
- Typing speed of at least 8,000 key presses per hour with minimal mistakes.
- Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial and sensitive information.
- Exceptional organizational and bookkeeping skills.
- High attention to detail alongside solid numerical aptitude.
- Open to constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Proficient in office software and data management tools.
