Role Overview

The Delivery Rider position is a full-time role based in Dubai with a hybrid work approach, blending on-site delivery work with some administrative tasks completed remotely. Primary duties involve collecting orders from allocated pick-up points, ensuring the safe and accurate management of packages, and delivering them punctually within scheduled timeframes. Riders must adhere to prescribed navigation routes, comply with traffic and safety laws, maintain their vehicles or equipment in a reliable condition, and utilize mobile apps for order management and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Picking up orders from assigned locations accurately and securely.
• Delivering packages to customers within specified time schedules.
• Following routing instructions and complying with all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintaining assigned vehicles or delivery equipment in proper working order.
• Using mobile applications for real-time order updates and effective communication with customers and dispatch teams.
• Providing professional, courteous customer service and handling basic delivery issues promptly.
• Cooperating with support personnel to optimize delivery routes and timing.

Requirements

• Proficient skills in navigation and route planning, including GPS and delivery app usage.
• Strong interpersonal skills to deliver excellent customer service and communicate professionally.
• Effective time management with keen attention to detail for handling multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Dedication to road safety, abiding by local traffic rules, and careful package handling.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license suitable for the type of vehicle used and a clean driving record.
• Physical capacity to operate a bike or car over extended durations and manage light to moderate lifting demands.
• Basic smartphone familiarity to operate delivery, navigation, and communication apps.
• Previous experience in delivery, courier, or logistics sectors is advantageous but not required.
