Engineer (m/w/div.) Electrical Engineering / Automation Technology

Role Overview

This position involves comprehensive responsibilities including planning, programming, support, and commissioning of machinery within the electrical and automation engineering fields. You will work with hardware and software planning, programming Beckhoff TwinCAT and Siemens TIA Portal, and developing machine visualizations using WinCC.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate hardware and software planning tasks.
• Independently program using Beckhoff TwinCAT and Siemens TIA Portal platforms.
• Develop corresponding machine visualization (HMI) utilizing WinCC.
• Provide support, modifications, and optimization for existing machines and systems.
• Commission and parameterize systems and components including variable frequency drives from Siemens and SEW.
• Occasional international travel to various company locations.

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering and/or vocational training in Electronics with further technician qualification and relevant work experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCAT and Siemens TIA Portal.
• Advantageous to have understanding of measurement technology, control engineering, and energy technology.
• Experience with fieldbus systems and drive technology from Siemens and SEW.
• Independent and responsible working style.
• High degree of flexibility.
• Willingness to participate in project-related foreign assignments.
