Position Overview
The Events Manager is vital in planning and executing a diverse range of events including conferences, tradeshows, field marketing events, partner collaborations, hosted gatherings, and the annual client summit. Reporting within a high-achieving events team with significant budget and executive support, this role demands strong organizational skills and a passion for creating impactful experiences that contribute to measurable business results.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end planning and delivery of B2B events such as venue negotiation, budget management, vendor coordination, logistics, and on-site event supervision.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align event goals with broader business objectives and audience engagement strategies.
- Develop and nurture relationships with industry partners, sponsors, and exhibitors to optimize event participation and support.
- Work alongside content and design teams to create compelling event marketing collateral including invitations, emails, social media posts, and signage.
- Manage attendee registration, maintain databases, and ensure clear communication before, during, and following events.
- Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to provide audiovisual support, catering, production quality, and other event necessities.
- Track event performance metrics, oversee expenses, and prepare detailed post-event analyses to evaluate ROI and inform improvements.
- Adhere to internal processes such as maintaining production documentation, updating project management boards, tracking budgets, and managing campaigns within Salesforce.
- Stay updated on latest industry trends, technologies, and event innovations to continuously elevate event quality and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in event planning and management with hands-on leadership in conferences and tradeshow sponsorships, preferably within B2B, corporate, healthcare, or employer benefits sectors.
- Exceptional project management capabilities with aptitude for multitasking, prioritizing, and thriving under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Creative, proactive strategizer with attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with project management and CRM tools such as Monday.com, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends as needed.
