About the Position

The Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), an autonomous entity within SUSS, leads the advancement of professional development in the Training and Adult Education sector. The Learning and Professional Development Division seeks a committed and service-driven Executive to oversee and support the learning systems, training operational workflows, and learner support infrastructure at IAL.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain learning platforms such as the Learning Management System (LMS), web conferencing tools, plagiarism detection software, and other digital learning tools.
• Monitor the performance, accessibility, license usage, and service quality of these systems to assure smooth daily operations.
• Deliver expert support for advanced technical issues, including troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and liaising with vendors.
• Manage workflows related to the Training Management System (TMS), Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ), and TP Gateway for course administration, learner enrolment, documentation, certification, and compliance.
• Assist with skills credentialling and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) administrative processes as assigned.
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation aligned with operational, compliance, and audit standards.
• Contribute to the evaluation, testing, and deployment of AI-driven learning applications and emerging technologies following organizational policies and needs.
• Create and publish engaging microlearning videos and digital instructional materials aimed at promoting professional growth and learner engagement.
• Drive process improvements and boost productivity through effective use of digital tools and learning technologies.
• Analyze learning system data and user trends to enhance operational workflows and learner support services.
• Support reporting activities that facilitate service enhancement and informed decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues, optimize workflows, and improve service delivery.
• Coordinate vendor partnerships regarding maintenance, system upgrades, incident resolution, and follow-up activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Candidates holding a Diploma coupled with substantial relevant experience in learning systems, digital learning, training operations, or system implementation are also welcome to apply.
• Have at least three years of pertinent experience in administering learning systems, LMS support, training operations, educational technology, or digital learning initiatives.
• Experience with enterprise learning platforms or learner support technology is advantageous.
• Familiarity with WSQ processes, TP Gateway systems, training administration, skills credentialling, or CPD procedures is preferred.
• Interest or prior exposure to AI-enabled learning applications, learning analytics, microlearning content creation, or digital content development is beneficial.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement capabilities alongside a customer-focused attitude.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Be capable of working independently and collaboratively within teams.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be based at IAL Campus, situated within the Lifelong Learning Institute near Paya Lebar MRT station.
